1. Being Single
You might be the only one in your group of friends who is still single. Perhaps the people you know in relationships are constantly telling you what you need to do in order to get into a relationship. Maybe you're being pressured to dress differently or hang out with different crowds or "try something new." Understand that even if those around you don't understand what you're going through, know that God is there and you can go to HIM, asking Him to strengthen you as you prepare to be in the kind of relationship that pleases Him, and not the people around you.
2. Your Finances
Perhaps the number in your bank account looks NOTHING like you thought it would look like by this point in your life. Maybe you had hoped to be in a better position by now and you're just...not. Know that God is not intimidated or caught off guard by the number in your bank account. He will still provide for you! Even when it doesn't seem like much, He is STILL providing, so keep on being obedient in your giving!
3. Your Goals
Maybe at the beginning of the year you tried to lose weight, improve your GPA or start a new business, and for whatever reason, you just couldn't get the results you hoped for. Perhaps there are people around you who remind you how you failed, or maybe you're reminding YOURSELF how you failed. Either way, you haven't failed. Don't forget that God is writing your story, and what HE has you to accomplish on this earth, you WILL! And trust that it's worth the wait!
You don't have to have an army behind you when God is on your side. Understand that even when you DO have the most supportive group of people around you, God is still the one who is lighting the path and making the way. So when people let you down and the things you were looking forward to just don't come through, know that the Lord is the one with the final word and He is the one controlling the entire situation, even when it comes to:
